Death by Huevos Rancheros

Ive been sick for the past week from eating radioactive huevos. Since my uniform of sweatpants and college t-shirt is sartorially interesting to no one and I haven't been on the street much to take pictures, I thought I'd post about what I've really been doing...

Shamelessly wasting hours and hours combing Ebay for everything I can possibly imagine. Here is a selection of things I most definitely would want. From the top left:

Marni wedges $107
Curb link silver bracelet
Chanel red clutch $121
Vena Cava top $25
Proenza Schouler (no heels!!) heels $315
White silk blazer $20
Blue romper $19

The Proenza Schouler heels are so amazing! Sadly they are in no way affordable, not even on Ebay.

Dear Paula,
My favorite thing about your current Summer line are these lace up booties. I would gladly wear them if you wanted to give them to me. I could feature them on my blog which is read willingly by at least 5 people and surely generate business for you.
Thanks so much,
Emily

Heat Wave

There are two temperatures in Buenos Aires: chilly and swealtering. This weekend was the first weekend in months of actual heat and everyone was out enjoying some time in the sun.
I went to Puerto Madero to have a drink and walk around. Along the way I came across this adorable little girl and her stylish mom. Clearly the little girl is not as enthusiastic about this picture as her mom is!

Lastly, here I am donning the whitest of white Albino skin tones. Just in case you were wondering that is a vest I'm wearing and not simply an exceptionally pale section of my torso.
I'm wearing an Erin Brynie skirt and top, a Vicki Ortero vest and Marc Jacobs WonderWoman cuff (thanks Heb!)

BAF Week - Maria Cher

Resident badass Maria Cher's eponymous line is always a favorite. Her clothes combine a bit of rock and roll with this bohemian element that makes them very wearable.

I wish I could have seen this show! Cora Groppo is one of my favorite Argentine designers. Her clothes are ethereal with striking silhouettes or textures but the colors she uses makes them edgy at the same time.

As I waited in the ENDLESS line to get tickets on Friday for BAF week along with the entire citywide population of girls between 18-22 (I felt weirdly over the hill), one extremely kind guy came over and handed us a free ticket. Honestly, if it weren't for that inexplicable, random moment of good fortune, we would never have gotten within 2 miles of the show entrance. I also realized once we were actually inside that the only way to actually to see show was to shamelessly cut the line and run push run run!!! once the gates were open.

The pictures above are from the Marcelo Senra show which Im so happy I was able to see. Everything from the Brazilian music, the exaggerated eyelashes and the playful, bright prints made for a very fun atmosphere. I had never seen his clothes before and came away truly impressed. Below are the comparatively ghetto pictures from my own camera taken at the show:
