Lazy Sundays

This Sunday I made it out of my apartment by the crack of 3pm to eat lunch in Recoleta. Recoleta is one of my favorite neighborhoods because of its beautiful architecture and overall elegance. Walking around is like stepping back in time as the ladies who lunch still wear their furs and elbow length gloves out to the local cafe at tea time. Hopefully I´ll be able to take some pictures of them and show you what I mean.

Inspired by the nuns of his early childhood and Gaucho folklore, Pablo Ramirez creates clothes only in black and white. While some of his designs are too literal in terms of their interpretation of retro silhouettes, mostly they are just beautiful and classic.

Hanging On

Here I am experiencing a moment of extreme vertigo. I'm standing on a balcony overlooking Pueyrredon avenue in Buenos Aires.

Since Paula Cahen D'Anvers didn't get my letter to her for some reason (I can't imagine why not) I was obliged to buy the aforementioned booties myself. I'm so glad I did though as the black and brown combination makes the so versatile I've been living in them ever since.

Finally Out!

I finally got off the couch and made it over to a friend's birthday party this weekend. A birthday party and the lure of wearing these neon shoes (sorry I know its getting old) is motivation enough for me.

Death by Huevos Rancheros

Ive been sick for the past week from eating radioactive huevos. Since my uniform of sweatpants and college t-shirt is sartorially interesting to no one and I haven't been on the street much to take pictures, I thought I'd post about what I've really been doing...

The Proenza Schouler heels are so amazing! Sadly they are in no way affordable, not even on Ebay.

Dear Paula,
My favorite thing about your current Summer line are these lace up booties. I would gladly wear them if you wanted to give them to me. I could feature them on my blog which is read willingly by at least 5 people and surely generate business for you.
